Strawberry Ice Cream for Dogs
This strawberry ice cream for dogs tasted so good, the first time we made it we had to make another batch for our dogs! Seriously. It tasted so good, we couldn’t stop until we’d eaten the lot!
- Natural Yogurt
Pureé together the strawberries, yogurt and honey.
If you have an ice cream maker, pour/spoon the mixture into the ice cream maker’s bowl and follow the manufacturers instructions. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, follow the instructions below.
Spoon into dog bone moulds or ice cube trays. Fill evenly and smooth the top.
Tap the mould on your worktop to ensure there are no air bubbles and that the mixture is evenly distributed.
Freeze for a minimum of 5 hours.
To remove, tap on your worktop to loosen then turn out. If you have any trouble, quickly run the mould under warm water to help the treats release, then turn out.
Store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Serve the blueberries and mint on the side.

Always remember to allow for any treats you give your dog when calculating his or her food for the day.
Unless you are making this purely for yourself, remember to use only plain natural yogurt in this recipe. It’s full of good bacteria and, importantly from your dog’s point of view, has no unhealthy ingredients.
