Pollock & Sardine Supreme

After a long day in the kitchen, this fish dinner looked, smelled and tasted so good, I was tempted to dish up some for myself. I came so close to chowing down with my dogs that evening!

Fish Recipes for Dogs

3 x Homemade Fish Recipes to tickle the taste buds of your best friend. Easy-to-make, tasty fish recipes rich in omega-3 fatty acids.

Atlantic pollock and Atlantic sardines combine for a fish supper (or dinner) certain to please any dog, sensitive tummy or otherwise!

Fish is something many vets recommend dogs should have at least once a week. Because it’s so good for them, I generally endeavour to give mine two fish meals a week.

With lean, low-fat Atlantic pollock, nutrient-rich sardines for essential fatty acids (those all-important omegas), and fresh fruit and vegetables including sweet potatoes, carrots and green beans, this is a meal any dog will find both enjoyable and easy to digest.

This pollock dog food recipe is easy to make, and doesn’t even need to contain pollock. You can use any fish on offer at the supermarket or your local fishmonger if you’re lucky enough to have one. Whatever fish you have available, combine it with tinned sardines, fruit and veg and you’re on your way to providing your best friend with a highly digestible meal.

An added benefit with this pollock dog food recipe is that, as with any homemade dog food containing fish, it’s easy on the digestive system. This means it’s perfect for any dog suffering from digestive problems.

If you make homemade food for your dog, you'll need to supplement to make that food complete. My natural supplements are made in-house with canine nutritionist approved 100% natural ingredients with no additives or preservatives of any kind.
