Our Canine Nutritionist says…
There’s a lot to like about feeding a dog shelled hemp seeds. They contain 9 out of 10 of a dog’s essential amino acids for starters. They’re also rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids plus the blood pressure-lowering amino acid arginine. On top of that, they contain gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) which helps fight inflammation and ease arthritis pain, they soothe dry skin and support canine digestion courtesy of their richness in dietary fibre.
