Plant-Based Dog Treats

Demand is on the increase

There’s no doubt about it. The demand for plant-based dog treats is on the increase. There’s a massive rise in the number of vegan and vegetarian dog parents seeking plant-based homemade dog treats and recipes.

As luck would have it, it’s something I’m rather familiar with. My Fresh Breath Dog Biscuit Mix was amongst my very first plant-based dog treat mixes. (You can see the finished treats pictured above). Note how healthy and natural they look!

These were closely followed by my Carob & Banana Cookie Mix. They’ve since been joined by many other plant-inspired dog treat mixes.

Bake your own plant-based dog treats

For anyone not familiar with my concept (where have you been??), I create dog treat baking mixes that allow you to make 100% natural homemade treats for your best friend.

Every one of my recipes uses dog-safe, human-grade ingredients that make dog treats so healthy, you could eat them too. Always assuming your dog will let you of course!

As luck would have it, the two treat mixes I’ve already mentioned are amongst my most popular with my vegan and vegetarian customers. Sometimes, some of them even share them with their dog apparently! (When you’ve tried them yourself, you’ll know just how hard that can be sometimes)!

I have lots more natural and healthy plant-based dog treats in the pipeline. Created by me and approved by my resident dog nutritionist, they will include treats that contain the likes of spirulina and nettle leaf, alfalfa and parsley, chlorella and chia seeds.

Bake your own healthy & 100% natural, wheat-free, plant-based homemade dog treats!

All these and more will be available in my shop in the coming months. Because everyone of them is not just a superfood for humans. They’re superfoods for dogs too!

My homemade dog treat baking mixes come with all dry ingredients included. So they come with all the required herbs and spices you need to make healthy and natural homemade treats for your dog. If any of my plant-based recipes require supplemental ingredients, it’s generally limited to a little water or a dash of olive oil.

Premium wholefoods are best

Importantly as well, I only use the highest quality ingredients supplied by a family-run, premium online wholefood retailer. And I and my team blend these ingredients ourselves, in house, by hand and in small batches. I don’t use machinery and, in order to maintain the highest quality control standards, I don’t outsource any of my production. We are a small, highly motivated team, who work hard to provide safe and healthy rewards for your best friend.

So if you want the finest quality, 100% natural and healthy plant-based dog treats for you and your best friend, look no further. And because you bake them yourself, you’ll know exactly what’s gone into them. As dog parents ourselves, that’s something that’s extremely important to every single one of us.

I hope you’ll give them a try, and I’m really looking forward to photos of you and your dog enjoying your dog’s treats. Just remember to share them. Don’t be a treat thief!
