Bake Your Own Dog Treats

If you are looking for a way to bake your own dog treats, you’ve come to the right place. That’s my raison d’être. That’s what I do. I bake dog treats. More precisely, I make homemade dog treat baking mixes. Baking mixes that enable you to bake natural and healthy homemade dog treats for your pup. Safe in the knowledge you’re rewarding your best friend with the best dog treats on the planet. Think cake mixes but baking mixes for dog treats!

I’m Ann-marie Morgan and I’m the founder of The Dog Chef. I started baking dog treats for my dog Marco when he was little more than a pup. He suffered from the most terrible allergies. Sometimes he would make his muzzle bleed, manically rubbing it on the ground as if trying to scratch an itch he couldn’t quite reach.

So while my husband began his study of dog nutrition, I began experimenting with homemade food and treats for our boy. I stopped all commercial dog food and treats and took total responsibility for the way I fed our pup. The transformation was remarkable. In no time at all, Marco was like a different dog.

Fast forward 7 years. Marco is now eight but still has the looks and enthusiasm of a young dog. So I decided to help others to improve their own food and treats, starting with my dog treat baking mixes. I want you to bake your own dog treats, but with a little help from me. I provide the dog treat baking mixes. Mixes that contain all the necessary dry ingredients that allow you to bake your own homemade dog treats. You provide the time, the odd supplemental ingredient and the dog!

That and the fact they contain a limited number of ingredients makes them an ideal introduction to baking for junior baker. It also helps children to learn to care for a companion animal.
