This 100% natural dog treat baking mix is the perfectly safe way to give your dog a rewarding chocolate fix. These dog-safe chocolate dog treats are made with carob powder which contains no cocoa which, as everyone knows, is harmful for dogs.

Bananas

Bananas offer dogs a wide range of benefits. They’re a good source of vitamins and minerals, particularly vitamin B6. Their antioxidants can improve your dog’s skin and coat. Bananas are an excellent source of energy and, being rich in fibre, are good for your dog’s digestive system. Just make sure any banana is ripe before feeding it to your dog.

Carob

Carob powder is a sweet-tasting 100% natural, dog-safe alternative to cacao. It’s made from the dried and ripened pods of the carob tree, a member of the pea family. Unlike the cocoa used in human chocolate, carob contains no caffeine and no theobromine. Both of these are harmful for dogs, particularly theobromine. Vitamin and mineral rich, carob is both sweet-tasting and nutritionally beneficial for your best friend.

Carob is an excellent dog treat ingredient for any dog suffering from diabetes or high cholesterol. Also, because it contains no oxalates, it’s a perfectly safe ingredient for any dog suffering from oxalate stones.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal is made from ground rolled oats, the breakfast cereal of choice for millions of people for centuries. Oatmeal contains numerous vitamins and minerals and makes an excellent wheat substitute for dogs with allergies.
