Homemade dog biscuits

Homemade dog biscuit recipes for home made dog biscuits do exactly what they say on the tin. They allow you to make homemade dog biscuits, whether for the occasional treat or a special occasion such as a birthday or the likes of International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day.

In case you’re interested, and why wouldn’t you be, International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day is a celebratory event held on the 23rd February each year. In the United States anyway! (If you or anyone you know in the UK celebrates this event, do please let me know. I’d be delighted to give you a plug)!

Natural goodness

Homemade dog biscuits, certainly those made The Dog Chef way, are much, much healthier than mass-produced commercial dog biscuits.

I only use 100% natural, dog-safe ingredients in my recipes. Ingredients which have also been passed fit for human consumption, which means you can eat them too. So there are no hidden nasties. No additives, preservatives or synthetic ingredients of any kind in fact. Just 100% natural goodness.

Biscuits, cookies, treats or crunchies?

When you use my homemade dog biscuit recipes to make homemade dog biscuits for your best friend, you have so many options. Okay, I’m best known for my Bake & Treat dog treat mixes. Ready-prepared dog treat baking mixes that come with cooking instructions and all the required dry ingredients to allow you to make homemade dog treats in a matter of minutes.

Fresh Breath Biscuit Baking Mix

Bake your own healthy & 100% natural, wheat-free, plant-based homemade dog treats!

But I’m also more than happy to share some of my other dog biscuit recipes. Let’s be honest, dogs enjoy variety. Like ourselves, dogs actually thrive on variety. The wider the variety of ingredients, the greater the variety of food and treats, the healthier they are likely to be.

Dog nutritionist-approved

My resident dog nutritionist oversees all my recipes. He ensures that every ingredient is dog-safe. More than that, he also samples all the finished dog biscuits made with our homemade dog biscuit recipes. He’s passionate about canine nutrition, and will only permit ingredients that add health benefits to my finished products.

It’s also a key element of my philosphy that you too should be able to eat and enjoy dog biscuits made to one of my recipes. So everything you make with one of my recipes is safe for you, your dog and your entire family to enjoy. Without additives or preservatives they’re probably healthier than must human biscuits into the bargain!

So whether you’re celebrating a birthday or the likes of National Biscuit Day (29 May), why not give one of my homemade dog biscuit recipes a try. You never know. You might actually prefer them to your normal nibbles!
