The Dog Chef Disclaimer

Nutritional & Safety Disclaimer

The recipes and nutritional information provided by The Dog Chef are for educational and informational purposes only. I am a passionate cook and pet parent and my dog nutritionist has a diploma in animal nutrition, but neither he, I nor any other member of my team is a veterinarian.

Homemade diets must be carefully balanced to prevent severe nutritional deficiencies. The recipes on this site may not meet the specific long-term dietary requirements of puppies, pregnant dogs or dogs with medical conditions such as pancreatitis or kidney disease. To that end, all recipes for meals, treats, toppers and other meal components should be considered purely as complementary to a properly formulated, complete and balanced diet.

Always consult with a qualified nutritionist before transitioning your pet to a wholly homemade diet. The user assumes all risk for the preparation and feeding of these recipes to their pets.
